15 Feb 10 Get your new site Listed In Google In 24 Hours
As we have previously discussed, Google, can make or break a web site, you can get a kick start by getting your site listed in 24 to 48 hours. Don’t do this – Go to Google and look at “Submit a Site”. That is exactly what everyone does and it takes months to get listed that way.
Here’s the trick. Get a high Page Rank site to link to you. A PR (page rank) of 5 or higher will do the trick. Yes, it is that simple.
This won’t guarantee you the #1 slot for all your keywords but it’s a great start. At least you can be found. Google currently takes 6 to 9 months for a new site to appear – not even rank – but appear.
If you can find more than one PR5 or higher to link to you that just helps you even more.
This is simple idea, it can be free if you submit to the right site or you can pay a small fee to link to a PR 5 site, and there are plenty of sites to link to you. Search for sites that are in the same category as yours or use a directory. There are several free ones out there.

In recent years, Squidoo has become one of the most fashionable social networking services that internet marketers use to create websites and achieve high search engine rankings. Squidoo, which in some ways is similar to Blogger, allows individuals to quickly set up a website on any niche that they are interested in. Squiddo provides all of the tools needed to create an eye-catching website, you don’t have to worry about having the required web building experience or technical skills to create a cool website.

29 Dec 08 My WordPress upgrade to 2.7 – CommentLuv Plugins
I’ve been standardising my WordPress plugins after upgrading to WordPress 2.7 and reading this great article from a friend of mine, but found they missed one that I love – a plugin called CommentLuv which extracts the latest blog post of the commenter and links it in with his comment automatically.
What the CommentLuv Plugin Does
When a site visitor leaves comments on a blog, the commenter has the option of putting in a URL which is then linked with his name when the comment is submitted. What the CommentLuv plugin does is look for a blog feed in that URL and if it finds one it extracts the latest post from that feed and links to it as a footer to the original comment.
The CommentLuv plugin encourages comments from visitors, as it gives the commenter a link with every post and it’s a very visible link which other readers will see.
