10 Jan 09 Windows 7 Beta available for download for Free

Finally it’s available for us all to have a look at, Windows 7 beta. It was previously leaked on different torrent sites after Steve Ballmer the CEO of Microsoft has announced the release of Windows 7 beta in the CES 2009 on 7th January 2009 but now it’s available straight from Microsoft (it’s legal!).

The release is available on both TechNet and MSDN previously and is now available for public beta (released on 9th January 2009).The ISO file name available on the Technet is en_windows_7_beta_checked_build_dvd_x86_x15-29063.iso

The Technet and MSDN subscribers should continue to download the Windows 7 beta release from the Technet and MSDN sites.

It’s rumored that Windows 7 has many improvements over Vista as far as performance is concerned. The system requirements are lower than Vista which is good considering that it’s newer than Vista.

Its available in both 32 bit and 64 bit.
