after trying several antivirus in last few years i am using the antivirus that i started with, Norton AntiVirus. i am using the 2005 version of it. so i needed a update in virus definitions & it was about 30mb. & i was searching a place where i can download it with my download manager instead of running LiveUpdate. i use dial-up connection & otherwise it would take much time.
what i have found is that we can download the latest virus definitions from the Symantec website itself. in this page you can find the direct download links of virus definitions for different versions. you can use your download manager for this download.
& those who have used Norton earlier know that it is so simple to update with the file you download. it is a .exe file & you can update your antivirus just by double clicking it & following a few easy instructions.
